Irvine Ca.

Irvine, Ca is one of the planned cities built by the Irvine Company who’s ancestors were the owners of the great ranches. Many of those ranches date from the time of western settlements by the Spanish and American’s who were inspired to go West.

When I first lived in Orange County, we were considered the poor step-children of Los Angeles. The country bumpkins with our horse farms and our surfer mentality. Much of that has changed now.

Orange County is a pretty prestigious place to live these days, and Irvine is considered one of our best cities. It’s location gives it easy access to the ocean, to all of the major freeways, and the John Wayne airport. It’s a please where new business thrives and corporations like to have an address.

Irvine has twice been named one of the best cities in the United States. And in 2014 it was also named the best run city in the U.S by Wall Street. I can attest to that myself. As a long time resident of South Orange County, the ability to build, or remodel, or establish a business can be hampered by an inefficient process. If you have your ducks in a row, your I’s dotted and your T’s crossed, there is no better city to do business with than Irvine!

Irvine is also doing something quite special for the upcoming Holidays, from their website:

” IRVINE, CA (Nov. 12, 2015): Celebrate the season as the Irvine Civic Center transforms into a Winter Wonderland on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 5-8 p.m.

The City’s newest event will feature a 25-foot-tall tree adorned with ornaments and holiday lights; a Joyful Jingles holiday concert; children’s activities; and train rides. Guests can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a festive tree-lighting as “snow” gently falls over the piazza. Children are in for a special treat when Santa stops by for a visit.

Guests at the free event are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift suitable for infants or children up to age 12 to support the 2/11 Marine Adoption Committee Holiday Toy Drive. The 2/11 Marine Committee provides charitable and educational activities and support for the benefit and welfare of the United States Marines and their families assigned to Camp Pendleton, with special emphasis on the Marines and families of the 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines.

The Irvine Civic Center is located at 1 Civic Center Plaza. For more information, call 949-724-6606 or visit cityofirvine.org.”

See you there!!
