It’s summer time and the living is easy. I love that song. If only it were true. Here in the OC livin is hardly ever easy, at least for any stretch of time. The great thing about Orange County is that we have access to some of the most beautiful beaches, golf courses and hiking trails that you will find anywhere. So while living in the OC means working hard is part of the package, finding time to play is also important, and you usually don’t have to go very far to do that.
Traditionally our summer actually starts the end of August because the Coastal areas of Orange County are usually cooler in June and July. But we don’t let that worry us. Head to the beach in the morning, stay for the warm sunshine in the early afternoon, and head home to sit around the fire pit and roast marshmallows in the cool evening.
This year we did hit a warm spell for a few days in Orange County, but inland, where our offices are located the warm summer sun is in full force.
So why is an answering service posting about the weather, and easy living? To remind business owners that taking time to spend with family and friends is important. If you aren’t tied to your phone every minute of the day, could you free up more time to do some easy living? We think you could.
